Approved Clydeplan Strategic Development Plan July 2017 Published
Clydeplan have today published the Clydeplan Strategic Development Plan which was approved with modifications by Scottish Ministers on 24th July 2017 following a period on consultation and independent Examination. This document replaces the Strategic Development Plan which was approved by Scottish Ministers on 29th May 2012.
The Strategic Development Plan (July 2017) sets out a Vision and Spatial Development Strategy until 2036 of where new development should be located and a policy framework that helps deliver sustainable economic growth through the creation of high quality places which reduces inequalities and which enhances the quality of life in the Glasgow City Region.
The Strategic Development Plan focuses on growing the economy of the city region in a low carbon and sustainable manner and sets out a land use spatial planning framework which positively encourages investment within Glasgow City Region.
