Development Plan Scheme and Participation Statement 2018/19 Published

Clydeplan today published its latest Development Plan Scheme and Participation Statement (April 2018 - April 2019).

The purpose of the Development Plan Scheme and Participation Statement is to set out Clydeplan’s programme for preparing, reviewing and consulting on its Strategic Development Plan.

Given the terms of the recently published Planning (Scotland) Bill and the intention to remove the statutory requirement on Clydeplan to produce a Strategic Development Plan the principal focus for Clydeplan for 208/19 will be the ongoing liaison with the Scottish Government, its constituent Local Authorities, Glasgow City Region, the other Strategic Development Planning Authorities in Scotland and other key stakeholders to understand its implications and to develop the role and activities of Clydeplan accordingly.
